In Which Bug Astounds Me.
Yesterday I called my grandmother to ask “do all babies stand while getting a diaper change.” She laughed. Bug rolled at around 6 months. Diaper changing has never been the same since then but now she gets to the end of the changing table, flips onto her knees and gets up. Changing her has become a nightmare when you add to that her other favorite thing to do: pee when the diaper is off. My usual tricks aren’t working and this kid has timing. My grandmother worked at a daycare for years and said that she never remembered a baby standing. Rolling yes. Hmm…
On another note Bug has now been teething for 6 weeks straight. Tooth number 7 popped through 3 days ago. That makes 5 teeth so far in this round. Grrr. I am over this. Bug, R, and I have all happily agreed that we could live a happy life with her 7 teeth. No more to college.
